A Day in the Life of a Jim2 User

Let’s walk through a typical user experience.

First thing in the morning, I launch Jim2, check for any new emails, then respond to them directly within Jim2. One of the key features of Email in Jim2 is Email Rules – set rules in place so emails are automatically linked to CardFiles, Jobs, Quotes and so on, and they are part of the comments grid along with all other information relating to that particular item. Imagine the time saved not having to search for emails and documentation! And it’s easy to link new emails as they come in too.

Next, I check the Schedule to make sure I’m on top of all appointments, jobs and quotes for the day. Task lists are a handy way of making sure things get done – a popup reminder will keep you on your toes and make sure you don’t miss anything.

Now it’s time to do some invoicing or raise some purchase orders, and email them straight from Jim2. Then jump into the Accounts to see what’s happening there, and if anything needs attention. The live general ledger keeps your accounts completely up to date at all times, and you can produce reports and compare financial performance at any time, in real time.

Being able to track conversations, jobs, and quotes is easy and ‘live lists’ show what’s happening, what’s due, what needs resolving and where process bottlenecks are occurring so they can be addressed quickly.

All this seamless workflow can be performed by any number of people simultaneously. One central system means everyone is on the same page at the same time – you all know what’s happening, and anyone can answer a customer query, which shows just how professional your organisation is!

We all know there’s nothing worse than calling for information, only to be told the person handling your request is not available and you have to wait for them to get an answer.

Another automatic reminder tells me I need to confirm a scheduled appointment – time to refer to the CardFile and call the client!

Come to think of it, it’s not really a day in the life... it’s a few moments. It’s that quick and easy in Jim2.
