Happen Business Announces the Release of Jim2 Business Engine v4.0

Leading Australian enterprise resource planning software developers Happen Business are proud to announce the release of Jim2 Business Engine Version 4.0.

Happen Business introduces major new enhancements to its best-of-class ERP and Accounting software, which centralises business functions, reporting and analysis into one package, promoting visibility and collaboration across hundreds of businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The latest release, Version 4.0, introduces Full Document Management as a new standard feature to the software package. It enables businesses to manage all documents, in any file format, with workflow in one place. Customer contracts, plans, product brochures, user manuals, site photographs, product images, certificates and licences, are tied to their job, order, stock, customer, or supplier to be quickly and easily revisited when required.

This enhancement includes full version control and user access security, helping businesses to maintain an audit trail and security framework around their document resource and ERP system.

The latest release also introduces Signable Reports to Jim2’s Mobile App, when partnered with Jim2 desktop software. The game-changing addition for Happen Business’ mobile app not only means staff can completely manage an order and job in real-time from the mobile app, it now enables staff to record a customer signature via Jim2 Mobile, which is saved against the order or job at hand as a signed Quote Acceptance, for example. Signature, name and date is readily listed on the document as confirmation and approval. Staff can also send the customer a copy of their signed acceptance via integrated email or AirDrop before they’re on their way.

Version 4.0 also includes the addition of labour timers to Jim2 desktop (previously an exclusive feature of Jim2 Mobile) allowing stopwatch task tracking and new ability for management to report accurately on the actual labour performed by staff. Users can record the time they spend on tasks associated with Quotes, Purchases, Jobs, Documents, Returns and Stocktakes.
